Teams still proves to be a vital application for organisations, with active users doubling to 75 million in 2020. The education sector has heavily invested in Microsoft Teams with teachers using the app to educate students since early March. Remote workers and those affected by lockdowns have also played a major role in the significant uptake, but as the need for organisations to collaborate and communicate quickly and efficiently, Teams has been crucial for almost all industries. 

Online collaboration has taken on a whole new level of significance for some many of us. Teams offers a lot more than just chat and video-conferencing. Its a central hub for all online collaboration. We use many integrated apps within Teams on a daily basis. Document management via SharePoint, managing simple projects and teams using Planner and brainstorming and working through ideas with OneNote.
