1. Course Bookings

1.1 All bookings are valid for a period of 12 months.
1.2 Following receipt of the fully completed Registration Form details, Nexacu will send a course confirmation email to the Client and attendee.
1.3 Client must pay the course fees and all other fees to Nexacu before Client or its participant/s attends the course.
1.4 All prices shown on our website are in Australian Dollars (AUD$). Prices shown include Australian GST.
1.5 Email communication – by signing up to any of our courses, Client agrees to receive email communications from Nexacu regarding its account and bookings, and periodic marketing emails directly from Nexacu only. Client may use links provided in each email to modify its email preferences or unsubscribe from any further marketing communications (Nexacu will continue to send account- and booking-related correspondence by email).
1.6 Please contact us before making any travel arrangements such as booking flights to attend a course.
1.7 Pre-payment for future training without booking on a scheduled course(s) will be deemed a “Credit” which is valid for 18 months from date of purchase. Training Credits must be used within 18 months from the date of purchase or they will expire and no refund will be provided. Credits are tracked and redeemed through the clients billing portal.
1.8 As of August 1st 2021, course manuals will be available via the student portal, in protected digital format (called an ebook) only.
1.9 Students will have access to their ebook, via the student portal for up to 24 months from their course date.
1.10 Students who wish to purchase a printed course manual can do so via their student portal at an additional cost. The printed course manual will be printed and posted to the address you nominate by Nexacu's official Nexacu Printing Partner.

2. Course Training Day

2.1 Nexacu has a strict no-smoking policy in their offices.
2.2 Any participant or other person who (in Nexacu’s sole determination) disrupts the orderly progress of the course may be asked to leave.
2.3 Client must not invite or make any offer of employment to any Trainer or Consultant engaged by Nexacu, and will not accept any such approach or offer from a Trainer or Consultant, except accordance with the Service Terms.

3. Public Courses - Cancellations, Rescheduling and Transfer Policy

3.1 If the Client wishes to reschedule a public training course date, the Client must notify Nexacu in writing or change their enrolment via the client portal.
If the rescheduling occurs within 7 days before the commencement of the course, the Client will be placed on a Pending List or can have their booking forfeited at the discretion of Nexacu. Bookings from the pending list are subject to conditions set out below.
3.2 Nexacu reserves the right, if necessary, to make alterations or changes to a previously confirmed training course date for a variety of reasons including but not exclusively, such as illness of the Trainer or Consultant. In such cases, Nexacu will endeavour informing the Client as soon as possible. In the event whereby it is necessary for Nexacu to re-schedule the course(s) to another date(s) then Nexacu shall inform the Client as soon as practicable regarding the new date(s).
3.3 Should the Client wish to confirm a reschedule course date without being placed on a Pending List, the Client agrees to pay a transfer fee equal to 50% of the current individual published price for the course.
3.4 Client may substitute its registered participants at any time before the commencement of the course without penalty.
3.5 If the Client has purchased a Nexacu course package (e.g. DA-100) and wishes to cancel it, the Client must notify Nexacu in writing. Cancellation will be accepted for unattended courses less fees for exam credits incurred by Nexacu.
3.6 If the Client (or its participant) fails to attend a training course without prior written notice to Nexacu, Client will forfeit the full amount of the course fee and no refund or credit will be made.
3.7 In the event of a refund being offered; if a discount has been applied to the offer the value of the discount will be firstly deducted from the refund.
3.8 If Client reschedules or cancels enrollment to a scheduled course within our booking guidelines, Client must rebook and attend the course within 6 months of the original course date. After that, Client forfeits the remaining course fee and no refund or credit will be made.
3.9 Pending List bookings are subject to the following conditions:

(a) The onus is on the client to contact Nexacu to enrol on any course from the pending list;
(b) Pending List bookings can only be made after 3.00pm the day before the rescheduled class is due to commence;
(c) Pending List bookings can only be made for sessions where places are available and confirmed to run;
(d) the rescheduled course may be conducted on a newer version of the software;
(e) failure to attend a last-minute rescheduled course will result in a forfeit of the booking;
(f) Clients can only be on a pending list for a maximum of 6 months. After 6 months from entering the pending list the enrolment will be forfeited noting that the onus is on the client to contact Nexacu to book their course from the pending list.

Workplace Course - Cancellations, Rescheduling and Transfer Policy

3.10 If the Client wishes to reschedule an onsite or in-house training course, the Client must notify Nexacu in writing. Depending on the nature of the booking additional charges may apply to reschedule the training dates. Rescheduled bookings must be used within 6 months of the original course date.
3.11 If the Client wishes to cancel a training course, the Client must notify Nexacu in writing. No refund of monies shall be made, but a Booking credit shall be issued for the same amount of monies paid, less any cancellation fees payable. A cancellation fee equal to 50% of the course monies/value paid is payable immediately if the cancellation is made within 10 days before the course the Trainee is scheduled to attend. Cancellation does not become effective until Nexacu receives this written notification.

4. Complimentary Course Refresher


All participants can re-sit any public course they have attended FREE of charge (excluding Onsite or In-house courses), subject to the following conditions:

(a) the repeated course is scheduled in the location and places are available on the requested course date;
(b) a booking to re-sit the course in may only be made after 3.00pm the day before the requested course is scheduled;
(c) the repeated course must be completed within 8 months of the original course date;
(d) if the repeated course will be taught using a newer version of the software, Client must pay an additional fee equal to 50% of the course cost;
(e) the repeated course may or may not be with the same trainer or consultant;
(f) the participant must supply the course manual they received when they attended the original course. A new course manual will not be provided, unless the repeated course will be taught using a new version of the software and Client has paid the additional fee under item 4(d) above.

5. Payment & Refunds

5.1 The Client has a right to apply for a full refund only when the re-scheduling of the course(s) has been made more than once by Nexacu. Nexacu will have no other liability due to changes to the training course date other than those set out in this condition and no other claim for compensation or expenses will be considered.
5.2 We accept payments using Visa, MasterCard and American Express. 

6. Certification Vouchers

6.1 All vouchers must be used by their expiration dates (in CT: Central Time), without exception, and cannot be extended for any reason. All vouchers and retake vouchers expire at 11:59:59 P.M. CT on the day of the expiration date.
6.2 Each alpha-numeric code may be used to take one exam. Once the exam begins, the voucher becomes void and cannot be reused or reassigned.
6.3 A voucher is not valid if altered or revised in any way and cannot be redeemed for cash, credit, or refund.
6.4 Retake voucher codes will only be issued if you fail the exam. If you pass the exam, a retake voucher code will not be generated or issued.
6.5 Retake voucher codes are generated within 24 hours of failing the exam, and cannot be rush processed for any reason.
6.6 A retake voucher code will be sent to the email address on your Certiport account in addition to automatically being assigned to your test candidate profile. It will automatically be available to select from within the payment method window when you retake the test.
6.7 The original code purchased (or the generated retake code), once redeemed, will not work for additional testing.
6.8 The retake voucher code can only be redeemed for the exact same exam that was administered in the first failed attempt. You cannot take a different exam with a retake voucher code.
6.9 The retake voucher code will expire (in CT) a set number of days after the code is generated, and the window to redeem a retake code varies by program (30 days for MOS exams). This will be a different expiration date than the original voucher code redeemed for the initial exam attempt. Expiration dates on retake codes cannot be extended for any reason.
6.10 Support from Nexacu under the program including access to exam support, resources and our program coordinators will lapse 12 months from the booking date.

7. Changes due to COVID-19

7.1 Time-Zones - Remote courses will begin at 9am in the host city which may be different to the city where the student is based. Students will be notified of the hosting city and should make themselves aware of any time difference impacting the local start and end times of the course.
7.2 Manuals  - Due to the current environment printed manuals will not be provided as part of your course. We are working on creating electronic supplemental materials. These will be provided to students in place of manuals.
7.3 Students attending remotely - Nexacu may revise your host city in the lead up to the course date. This may impact the local start and end times of the course of the student.
7.4 Students changing from face to face to remote - Nexacu may revise your host city in this instance. This may impact the local start and end times of the course of the student.

8. Digital and Printed eBooks

8.1 Digital eBooks are not printable, downloadable nor shareable. Sections of text and images are not copyable. This is done in order to protect the courseware IP that Nexacu has gone to considerable time and expense to produce and update.
8.2 For students requiring a printed eBook these are available as a paid additional extra. Students are able to order printed eBooks from the Nexacu student portal.
8.3 Nexacu engages a third party print partner to process and despatch all orders for printed eBooks. Orders for printed eBooks will not be processed and despatched by our print partner until paid. Credit card and paypal are the accepted methods of payment for a printed eBook.
8.4 Please allow the recommended number of business days from payment to receive your printed eBook: 5-7 working for standard postage and 2 working days for express postage.
8.5 Express postage can be tracked via your Nexacu student portal

9. Changes to this Booking Policy

9.1 Nexacu reserves the right to update and/or alter this Booking Policy at any time, and it is the Client’s responsibility to be familiar with them. If Nexacu publishes changes to this Booking Policy, the new policy takes effect for each booking made on or after the date the new Booking Policy is published on Nexacu’s website.
