Booking Policy

Excel Consulting Solutions Pty Ltd (EC) T/A Nexacu.

  1. Course Bookings

1.1 All bookings are valid for a period of 12 months.
1.2 Following receipt of the fully completed Registration Form details, Nexacu will send a course confirmation email to the Client and attendee.
1.3 Client must pay the course fees and all other fees to Nexacu before Client or its participant/s attends the course.
1.4 All prices shown on our website are in Australian Dollars (AUD$). Prices shown include Australian GST.
1.5 Email communication – by signing up to any of our courses, Client agrees to receive email communications from Nexacu regarding its account and bookings, and periodic marketing emails directly from Nexacu only. Client may use links provided in each email to modify its email preferences or unsubscribe from any further marketing communications (Nexacu will continue to send account- and booking-related correspondence by email).
1.6 Please contact us before making any travel arrangements such as booking flights to attend a course.

  1. Course Training Day

2.1 Nexacu has a strict no-smoking policy in their offices.
2.2 Any participant or other person who (in Nexacu’s sole determination) disrupts the orderly progress of the course may be asked to leave.
2.3 Client must not invite or make any offer of employment to any Trainer or Consultant engaged by Nexacu, and will not accept any such approach or offer from a Trainer or Consultant, except accordance with the Service Terms.

  1. Course Cancellations, Rescheduling and Transfer Policy

3.1 If the Client wishes to reschedule a public training course date (excluding private onsite and in-house training courses), the Client must notify Nexacu in writing. Rescheduling does not become effective until Nexacu receives this written notification. If the rescheduling occurs within 5 business days before the commencement of the course, the Client will automatically be placed on a Last Minute wait-list for a later class. Last Minute wait-list bookings can only be made after 3.00pm the day before the rescheduled class is due to commence.

3.2 Nexacu reserves the right, if necessary, to make alterations or changes to a previously confirmed training course date for a variety of reasons including but not exclusively, such as illness of the Trainer or Consultant. In such cases, Nexacu will endeavour informing the Client as soon as possible. In the event whereby it is necessary for Nexacu to re-schedule the course(s) to another date(s) then Nexacu shall inform the Client as soon as practicable regarding the new date(s).

3.3 Should the Client wish to confirm a reschedule course date without being placed on a Last Minute wait-list, Client agrees to pay a transfer fee equal to 50% of the current individual published price for the course.

3.4 Client may substitute its registered participants at any time before the commencement of the course.

3.5 If the Client wishes to reschedule an onsite or in-house training course, the Client must notify Nexacu in writing. Depending on the nature of the booking additional charges may apply to reschedule the training dates. Rescheduled bookings must be used within 6 months of the original course date.

3.6 If the Client has purchased a Nexacu course package (being any booking made for a combination of two or more courses offered at a discounted rate – eg: “Advanced Excel & VBA” or any other packages that may be offered from time to time) and wishes to cancel it, the Client must notify Nexacu in writing. Cancellation will be accepted as long as none of the courses in the package have been attended yet.

3.7 If the Client (or its participant) fails to attend a training course without prior written notice to Nexacu, Client will forfeit the full amount of the course fee and no refund or credit will be made.

3.8 If the Client wishes to cancel a training course, the Client must notify Nexacu in writing. No refund of monies shall be made, but a Booking credit shall be issued for the same amount of monies paid, less any cancellation fees payable. A cancellation fee equal to 50% of the course monies/value paid is payable immediately if the cancellation is made within 10 days before the course the Trainee is scheduled to attend. Cancellation does not become effective until Nexacu receives this written notification.

3.9 In the event of a refund being offered; if a discount has been applied to the offer the value of the discount will be refunded first.

3.10 If Client reschedules or cancels enrollment to a scheduled course within our booking guidelines, Client must rebook and attend the course within 6 months of the original course date. After that, Client forfeits the remaining course fee and no refund or credit will be made.

3.11 Last Minute wait-list bookings are subject to the following conditions:


(a) Nexacu has places available on the requested course date;
(b) the rescheduled course may be conducted on a newer version of the software;
(c) where the rescheduled class is longer in duration than the original course, or the price for the course has increased, Client is required to pay the increase between the original course price and the new course price, before the booking is confirmed.

  1. Complimentary Course Refresher

All participants can re-sit any public course they have attended FREE of charge (excluding Onsite or In-house courses), subject to the following conditions:


(a) the repeated course is scheduled in the location and places are available on the requested course date;
(b) a booking to re-sit the course in may only be made after 3.00pm the day before the requested course is scheduled;
(c) the repeated course must be completed within 8 months of the original course date;
(d) if the repeated course will be taught using a newer version of the software, Client must pay an additional fee equal to 50% of the course cost;
(e) the repeated course may or may not be with the same trainer or consultant;
(f) the participant must supply the course manual they received when they attended the original course. A new course manual will not be provided, unless the repeated course will be taught using a new version of the software and Client has paid the additional fee under item 4(d) above.

  1. Payment & Refunds

5.1 The Client has a right to apply for a full refund only when the re-scheduling of the course(s) has been made more than once by Nexacu. Nexacu will have no other liability due to changes to the training course date other than those set out in this condition and no other claim for compensation or expenses will be considered.
5.2 We accept payments using Visa, MasterCard and American Express. 

  1. Changes due to COVID-19

6.1 Time-Zones - Remote courses will begin at 9am in the hosting city. Students will be notified of the hosting city and should make themselves aware of any time difference.
6.2 Manuals  - Due to the current environment printed manuals will not be provided as part of your course. We are working on creating electronic supplemental materials. These will be provided to students in place of manuals.

  1. Changes to this Booking Policy

7.1 Nexacu reserves the right to update and/or alter this Booking Policy at any time, and it is the Client’s responsibility to be familiar with them. If Nexacu publishes changes to this Booking Policy, the new policy takes effect for each booking made on or after the date the new Booking Policy is published on Nexacu’s website.
