It’s an exciting time at Nexacu and we are seeking a full-time trainer to deliver day long courses in the Canberra area.
You will deliver a combination of our public courses run from our venue in the Canberra CBD as well as customised courses delivered in workplaces across Canberra. You will generally deliver training face-to-face with small groups (up to 10 students in our public courses).
You will be the custodian of the Canberra venue, ensuring that it presents well to clients and is ready to go for training. This includes minor housekeeping and the occasional IT update. Don't worry though you'll be supported by our amazing Operations staff in Brisbane.
On the occasional non-training day, you will prepare for upcoming courses as well as undertake small project tasks that may include course development, content development such as blogs, and working toward professional development goals. To support a healthy work/life balance you will have the flexibility to work from home on these days.
You will have exceptional communication and presentation skills, with personal integrity to ensure every one of your student’s learning objectives is achieved to a high standard.
You will be driven to maintain or exceed a high level of customer satisfaction - adding to Nexacu's 15,000+ positive customer reviews.
If you have experience in delivering Microsoft training that will be highly regarded. But more importantly, you will be an expert in all or part of Microsoft Office with an enthusiasm for learning about new products/features and an ability to share that knowledge so that everyone understands it.
You will enjoy collaborating remotely with other team members using Microsoft Teams – continuing to foster Nexacu's learning-culture.
You will deliver training at Nexacu's location in Civic or in workplaces across Canberra, therefore a driver's licence and access to reliable transport is an advantage.
You will receive a comprehensive induction, in-house training and ample preparation time for new courses. We will assist you in your continual professional development goals and provide development days.
Our national network of trainers and course writers will support and assist you with course preparation as needed. Operational support is provided by our talented head office staff located in Brisbane.
Once a year we bring the entire team together from across Australia to celebrate our success, learn from each other and plan the year ahead. But you will quickly meet everyone through Microsoft Teams' chat and video sessions.

Internally we use the products that we teach namely Power BI, Power Apps, SharePoint Online, Teams, Flow, Planner and more. We embrace the technologies that we teach. From our inception, we have been believers in Microsoft’s end user technologies and citizen developer platforms that empower people to do more.
Our training mode is instructor led, face-to-face with small class sizes. Our students come from a broad range corporates, government and SME’s. Our trainers derive great enjoyment through teaching the latest end-user technology to engaged adult students, who in turn provide great feedback and repeat business.
Due to our ongoing success and growth, we are looking for passionate trainers to join our team nationally. Locations specifically include Brisbane, Canberra, Adelaide, Perth, Sydney, Melbourne, Newcastle and Auckland.
Candidates must have exceptional communication skills, training experience and Bachelor level qualifications. Above all, we value the trainers’ ability to be consistently reviewed highly by participants with varying skill and ability, across a range of courses. Candidates should have an enthusiasm for learning new technology and teaching it. Training is delivered either in our CBD training facilities or in workplaces across local metropolitan areas, therefore a driver’s licence and vehicle would be an advantage.
Successful candidates will receive a comprehensive induction, in-house training and ample preparation time for new courses. We are open to some work-from-home arrangements on course preparation days. We have a national network of other fulltime and contracted trainers and course writers who are able to assist with course preparation as needed.
