Become a Nexacu Trainer | Earn while you learn!
Free Power BI Certifications available to approved candidates
Nexacu empowers people to become better at their job through delivering quality, instructor-led training. Our training is run through our centres or remotely nationally and internationally.
The expectation on our casual and contract trainers is high. We expect them to have the skills and experience ready to teach at the level our clients expect.
Our Power BI Induction Program offers candidates a pathway to becoming a Nexacu Trainer. Candidates can choose from 3 program formats, including undertaking a Nexacu Power BI certification, self-paced upskilling or a combination of both. There is zero cost to the approved candidate but we do ask for commitments to learning and training delivery preparation to be made in return. We seek candidates who already have a high level of related skills and an eagerness to develop the required skills to become a Nexacu Trainer.
Option 1 - Five week intensive program
Interview and Offer Stage
- Interview
- Presentation on topic of choice by candidate**;
- Determine availability and flexibility to train;
- Agree terms;
- Interview and presentation can be done either in person or remotely;
Week 1
- Schedule course attendance*
- Nexacu to provide*:
- portal access
- learning resources
- Power BI licensing
- Introduce Nexacu trainer buddy*;
- Share trainer styling videos*.
Weeks 2-3
- Attend Power BI Beginner and Intermediate*;
- Buddy check in*;
- Commence Nexacu course preparation**;
- Commence PL300 practice exams**
- 30 minute demo delivery of Nexacu content with Head Office - feedback provided**
- Deliver Power BI Beginner (paid engagement)**
Weeks 4-5
- Attend Power BI Advanced and DAX*
- Deliver Power BI Beginner and Intermediate (paid engagement)**
- Sit PL300 exam**

The candidate will earn a Microsoft Power BI Certification PL300 upon completion in the same way our own students earn the certification.
Option 2 - Self paced
For those candidates that don't have the time to attend our courses you can get up to speed with self paced learning: Microsoft Learning Path PL300 . You can sign up for a free trial version of Power BI for your learning for 60 days. Approved candidates will have the exam and practice exam costs covered by Nexacu in return for agreed Nexacu content learning and delivery milestones.
Option 3 - Hybrid
The hybrid option is for candidates who may only want to attend some of our courses but are also happy to complete self paced learning using the Microsoft Learning Path PL300 . You can sign up for a free trial version of Power BI for your learning for 60 days. Approved candidates will have the exam and practice exam costs covered by Nexacu in return for agreed Nexacu content learning and delivery milestones.

From our inception, we have been believers in Microsoft’s end user technologies and citizen developer platforms that empower people to do more.
Our training mode is instructor led, face-to-face with small class sizes. Our students come from a broad range corporates, government and SME’s. Our trainers derive great enjoyment from teaching the latest end-user technology to engaged adult students, who in turn provide great feedback and repeat business.
Due to our ongoing success and growth, we are looking for passionate trainers to join our team nationally. Locations specifically include Brisbane, Canberra, Adelaide, Perth, Sydney and Melbourne.
Suitable Candidates
Candidates must have exceptional communication skills, training experience and Bachelor level qualifications. Above all, we value the trainers’ ability to be consistently reviewed highly by participants with varying skill and ability, across a range of courses. Candidates should have an enthusiasm for learning new technology and teaching it. Training is delivered either in our CBD training facilities or in workplaces across local metropolitan areas, therefore a driver’s license and vehicle would be an advantage.
Successful candidates will receive a comprehensive induction, in-house training and ample preparation time for new courses. We have a national network of other fulltime and contracted trainers and course writers who are able to assist with course preparation as needed.
