Take your Task Management app to the next level by integrating Power Automate and Power BI with Power Apps and SharePoint. You’ll work hands-on to assign users via flows, generate and save PDFs to SharePoint, send critical task reports by email, and embed a Power BI report for visual insights and dashboard-style reporting.
This pathway mirrors a structured, step-by-step build: prepare SharePoint and the app, create and install flows, pass parameters between Power Apps and Power Automate, format and send email reports, generate PDFs from app screens, and embed Power BI tiles with optional URL filtering. You’ll leave with reusable patterns for real business apps not just demos.
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
- Prepare and validate SharePoint list settings and import Excel data
- Import and configure an MSAPP app and establish connections
- Build flows to assign users and update SharePoint Person fields correctly
- Create a “Critical Tasks” reporting flow with filtering, sorting, variables, and HTML tables
- Generate PDFs from Power Apps and save them to SharePoint via flows
- Embed Power BI tiles with optional URL filtering and improve navigation using reusable components
Prerequisite:
Intermediate Excel and basic Power Apps Canvas app skills (or Power Apps Beginner / Intermediate Pathway 1). SharePoint Lists helpful.
